Accessibility Commitment

Wilson’s Roofing is committed to providing an accessible and inclusive experience for all customers, including individuals with disabilities.

We strive to meet the needs of our customers in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (IASR).


Accessible Customer Service

We are committed to delivering our services in a way that respects the dignity and independence of individuals with disabilities.

We will:

  • Respond to accessibility requests in a timely manner
  • Ensure our services are delivered in a respectful and inclusive way

Accessible Communication & Formats

Wilson’s Roofing will provide or arrange for accessible formats and communication supports upon request.

Examples may include:

  • Providing written information in alternative formats
  • Offering verbal explanations of written materials
  • Communicating via phone or email based on customer preference

We will consult with the individual making the request to determine the most appropriate format.

Accessible formats are provided at no additional cost.

We welcome feedback on how we provide services to individuals with disabilities.

Service Animals & Support Persons

Service animals are permitted in areas of our business that are open to the public, unless otherwise prohibited by law.

Support persons are also welcome, and no additional fees will be charged.


Temporary Service Disruptions

In the event of a planned or unexpected disruption to services, Wilson’s Roofing will notify customers as soon as possible.

Notices will include:

  • The reason for the disruption
  • The expected duration
  • Alternative options, if available

Notifications may be communicated via phone, email, or website updates.


Accessibility Training

Wilson’s Roofing provides accessibility training to all employees and contractors.

Training includes:

  • AODA requirements
  • The Ontario Human Rights Code as it relates to disabilities
  • How to interact with individuals with various types of disabilities
  • How to respond to accessibility-related requests

Training is completed as part of onboarding and tracked internally through the company’s SiteDocs system.


Requesting Accommodation

Customers may request accommodations at any time.

Wilson’s Roofing will work with individuals to provide reasonable accommodations that meet their needs.
